of EUR 79,--, independent of version and number of maps bought.

in the past, the update fee will be EUR 79,--. However, in addition to
the program, you need to download all DCW vector maps anew.

I updated from the OEM to the StrePla-2 full
version. Can I also update to StrePla3?
Yes, there is no difference between a customer who
bought StrePla-2 directly and an upgrade from OEM- to full version. That
means:
- If you have upgraded after the 15th October
2002, you will receive a complimentary StrePla3 update.
- If you upgraded before the 15th October, the
fee will be EUR 79,-- independent of version and number of maps
bought.

If you want to use the ICAO map for
navigational purposes you need to buy a new one every year.
Unfortunately there is no update service.

Do you want to print the current data but StrePla3
doesn't support your wishes? No problem, use the windows function for
printing screen content. It is described in the following paragraph.
There is a key labelled Print or PrtSC
on your keyboard. This key is usually in the top right-hand side of the
keyboard. With this key you can copy the complete screen content or the
active window. The active window is the window with the blue title bar.
To copy the complete screen content:
- Press on Print.
- Open a program that is able to represent
graphics. For example WORD, EXCEL, PAINT, Paint Shop Pro, CorelDraw or
similar.
- Click on Edit and Insert in the
document window in order to insert the picture in the document.
To copy the active window:
- Press on ALT+ Print.
- Open a program that is able to represent
graphics. For example WORD, EXCEL, PAINT, Paint Shop Pro, CorelDraw or
similar.
- Click on Edit and Insert in the
document window in order to insert the picture in the document.

I can not find my logger type in direct
communication
At the moment only the following devices can
directly communicate with StrePla:
- Volkslogger
- LX20, Posigraph, Colibri, LX5000 >6.0
- LX5000 Firmware <6.0
- Cambridge
- GARMIN
The other loggers are handled via import and export.
We from StrePla2 would like to be able to connect other loggers directly, because we think that this is the best way for our clients. Unfortunately the manufacturers need to write a part of a program here. (Similar as the printer manufacturers who deliver drivers with their printers). As the only manufacturer, the company Garrecht with their VOLKSLOGGER has taken on our opinion.
You can still use all other devices. Not quite as comfortable.
Use the manufacturer's own communication program to transfer the files from the device to your hard
drive. Then start StrePla and point to File.Import and proceed the way it is described in the manual in the chapter
Import. To export, proceed in the reversed order.

I don't have any airports
in my maps after the installation.
We treat airports as
turnpoints. That's why they are not installed with the maps. You can
easily select airports under File.Import.Turnpoints and Routes; and
then in the directory ...\My own files\strepla2\Welt2000.wgs.
Did you see the filter
in the bottom left corner? The button with the label "F" (as in Filter)
can be used for quick filtering. If you deactivate the turnpoints there,
you will not see them anymore either.

My info windows have
disappeared.
If you click on the cross in the top right-hand
corner of the info window, it will disappear. This is the normal
procedure when closing a window in Windows.
If you want to make the window visible again, point
to View.Info windows in StrePla and choose Info window 1, 2 or 3.

I have a 2.xx
version and want to update to the version 3. Does this cost and what do I
have to do?
The update from version 2 to version 3
costs EUR 79,--.You need a new licensing File. You can request it
here.

My mouse is making strange movements
on the screen after starting up.
You logger was probably connected to
the serial port during booting.
When booting, Windows checks the
ports.
If it finds a device there (your logger), it may assume it is a mouse
and will install a mouse driver for this port. So always disconnect the
logger during booting. This problem can not be solved by StrePla.
