• New USA Airport Data File

There is a new US airport data file available on the Worldwide Soaring Turnpoint Exchange. It includes all the public and private airports in the USA. The data comes from files provided by the F.A.A. and the data is very accurate and current. You can access the data file here:

• Probably the most well-known and maintained turnpoint catalogue that exists. Michael- Lorenz Meier has an awful lot of work done with it. Thank you very much! Michael unfortunately is deceased in his 71. Year of life after serious illness on January 7th 2008. His work lives on and is continued to maintain by Howard Mills and Mike Köster.

You can download the current Meier file. Copy the down loaded file WELT2000.WGS into the directory C:\ My documents\StrePla and replace the old one.
