StrePla4 users can download this maps very
easily via the integrated map management in StrePla4.

The raw data of the satellite maps are of the Website of the Earth
Science Applications Directorate (ESAD). That is a web site of
NASA, which makes us possible free access to the data, which were
noted during the Landsat mission 1990. Thank beautifully for this to
NASA.
We have these data prepared and StrePla extended that
the maps very simply, as used, via the map manager can be loaded. Note
that these files are partly very large. A good internet connection (ADSL
or better) is recommended.
It
is not absolutely necessary to download the satellite maps data from here. If your PC has an internet connection, the
easier solution is: Start StrePla3 and
point to Extras.Map Manager. Choose
Internet as a source there. The whole download and installation will
then happen automatically without your needing to do anything else.
Naturally you can still download the satellite
maps data from here
and then install by double-clicking on the downloaded file. You will
find an instruction for the download
here.
